Dr. Nanki Longowal was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and has deep roots in the community. She completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta, where she developed a passion for patient care and a keen interest in dermatology. Following medical school, Dr. Longowal pursued her Family Medicine residency at the University of Calgary, where she honed her skills in diagnosing and managing a broad range of medical conditions.

For the past six years, Dr. Longowal has worked as a Hospitalist Physician at the Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) in Calgary. During her tenure, she gained extensive experience in managing complex and acute medical cases, including those with dermatological conditions that required hospitalization. Her dedication to patient care was recognized in 2022 when she was awarded the Dr. Wanita Lopeter Memorial Award, a prestigious honor that celebrates her outstanding contributions to the PLC Hospitalist Service.

Dr. Longowal is now expanding her expertise by pursuing a post-graduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology (PgDPD) through the University of Cardiff, a highly respected program that will further deepen her knowledge and skills in dermatological care. With a focus on medical dermatology and a commitment to a patient-centered approach, she is passionate about helping patients achieve the best outcomes for their skin health.

As she transitions back to her hometown of Edmonton, Dr. Longowal is excited to join her brother, Dr. Maninder Longowal, and the talented team at Rejuvenation Edmonton Downtown. She looks forward to bringing her extensive experience and expertise to the clinic, continuing to provide exceptional care to the Edmonton community!
