I completed plastic surgery residency at the University of British Columbia - one of the top training programs in the country.

In residency, my desire for evidence-based medicine and scientific research led me to complete an additional Master’s degree, in wound healing and stem cell therapy. I have gained clinical experience at prestigious institutions including UBC, Harvard and Johns Hopkins.

Dr. Forbes is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), with a sub-speciality training in Plastic Surgery.
